This book is magic

The premise sounded interesting, but the story is about a schoolgirl who is incredibly vulnerable and easily prone to tears in all settings, and depends on medication to help calm her as she sees fae around her. She’s obsessed with a deceased author and is tasked with redesigning his estate, but honestly the story and characters are not pulling me in and I’m frustrated at the main character.
