Status Updates From Batman: The Man Who Laughs

Made of Wood: This story starts off with a much different vibe and it’s refreshing. Seeing Batman talk about freedom and the mornings. My introduction to Allen Scott and he is a cool dude. This story is great overall. The shot of Batman with the green lantern Batman logo behind him is peak. The ending is amazing with Batman looking at the signature his father got. Fantastic story

Gotham noir was so fire.

Gotham Noir: THIS BOOK IS SO DAMN GOOD. legit might be my favorite comic I’ve read so far. Batman is so much cooler through other people’s perspectives. The art in this made him look like a real life creature floating through the night. The story was incredible very new and weird take on the cast. But Gordon was amazing per usual. And it’s so fun to not have the main character be Bruce.

The man who laughs: THIS IS PEAK!! This feels like it picks up right from year one tbh. I love seeing Gordon being “outed” as the first cop to work with Batman. The jokers into legit made me a bit scared that panel is next level. This is one of my favorite versions of Batman and joker. The way the work together and understand each other. So peak so so good.
