“You stopped taking pictures?”
“Some things are better to keep up here.” He tapped the side of his head.

"I'm never gonna leave you guys. You have to believe me, Gracie. You have to."

"I will, even if it fucking takes me forever."

We both cried together, surrendering to the reality that we had to accept. No one could change the past or give us back the time we ahd lost, and there were no words to make everything better. We just had to accept the present for what it was.
