4 friends stuck in a creepy haunted house on the beach while grieving. Loved the really cool way it's told in texts and stream of consciousness.

Sunk by Richard Thomas - DNF

This is a really and experimental structure where it's just one huge long run on sentence for pages with the only period coming at the end. I couldn't read it because the first few lines gave me such a rushed feeling full of anxiety (which is prolly what the author intended) but I couldn't do it. Lol.

The Ocean Vomits What We Discard by J. A. W. McCarthy - 4.5 stars

Really cool story. About a girl's family who's cursed to reflect back all the trash that's discarded into the ocean.

The Beach House With Its Back To The Sea by Ide Hennessy - 2 stars

Meh, plots revolving around filming a movie or something like that and of actors and actresses isn't usually a hook for me.

Huh? I thought this piece was just vibes and meandered through the pages.

Oh jeeze, imagine if you had a sea monster taking over your body and living inside you. Eek.

This was utterly creepy but fascinating. Imagine if your partner's exact clone came into your life, what would you do?
