I expected a highlight of new research about weight training and reasons on how some people acquire muscle mass more easily. Maybe an Anthropocene lens of how muscle allowed us to become the “apex” predator. I was met with a very biased view of muscle. I don’t disagree with the points she is making, but it seems to lack a central thesis. Her anecdotes are all similar. The book also focuses on victimizing women.
