Status Updates From Voice of the Ocean

Okay I’m a little more invested now the beginning just felt very copy paste but it’s more like a Pirates of the Caribbean meets Little mermaid

Still don’t know how I feel about this book. Of course I love a good mermaid story, this just feels too close to Ariel’s story. Almost like a Disney twisted tale in a way. I love Disney’s twisted tales, but I’d expect something like this from Disney. Kinda was hoping for something a little more original. BUT Maybe the story gets better.
