I wonder if Elin is Guido's partner as the mathematician 🤔

This Elin Crane person is still super suspicious. Why is she suddenly helping Charlie? I wonder if her stalker who randomly disappeared is also involved in all of this...

"'It looks great,' Charlie said. 'But it's hanging in my office, where no one else can see it. Am I safe?
Guido laughed. 'I promise I will not liberate it.'"

Ugh Charlie fantasizing about a woman just sitting there to inquire about how to deal with her stalker is DISGUSTING. I did not need to read that. Like why did that come up 3 times? Appreciating beauty vs fantasizing are 2 very different things. Blehh.

Loving how succinct the author is, which made me think that he works in Law (surprise surprise, he was a prominent criminal defense attorney). Anywho, I can't wait to see what else unfolds in the book! I find it hilarious how Charlie and Guido literally were just minding their own business and BAM, got sucked into all of the mess they're now in 🤣

These Brad and Brent characters kinda feel out of place. Why do we need more NPCs? Hahaha
