Status Updates From The Trouble with Christmas ...

SO glad to finally be done! This was so incredibly annoying, I didn’t like the characters, the hero was an asshole, I didn’t believe the romance at all. The heroine deserves so much better. This was over the top ridiculous. The whole book centered on them,& was entirely too long for the nowhere plot.The writing was not for me, super cringe & annoying. I now hate the word muse. Idw read any more by this author.

12-25. pg259. I want to be done with this so bad, but Idw actually read it. Outdated view of a man. Not into hate-romance. The hero is too rude and mean for me to root for them or be into this story at all. They’re into each other because they’re good-looking but don’t actually like each other. Idl the writing at all. I still want to dnf this.

12-24. pg116. The hero is not funny, he is just mean. & not a very secure male at all; always on about size & not wanting to do “unmanly” things. I’ve wanted to dnf the whole time, told myself to get to 100 pages and see if that changes. It hasn’t.

12-23. pg66. This author makes a muse sound like a living breathing person, Idt she knows what a muse is; it’s completely ridiculous.& this heroine is ridiculous with her inane, incessant, embarrassing chatter. Her and the hero’s voices are too similar too. They both sound the same. This book is entirely too long based on the subject matter, which is next to nothing.

12-22.pg25. Not in the mood to read this, but I’ve had it for years and don’t wanna save it to read another year.

This is so fun. Definitely interested in reading more of this series
