So I started this way back in October, and as you can see, it's January. I received the first two books in the series as part of the First Reads Program. Good Reads has sent me an email chock full of concern that I haven't finished it yet. But, what can I say? Life happened. Large and small crises popped up and I put Odette aside. When the trouble was resolved(ish), I forgot about her. So let's try again.

This book has the most wild and thrilling adventure I've ever read. But what I really loved was the amaaaazzziiinngg historical fiction part of it and the really cool subplots and dynamic characters. Plus I fell really in love with gabe!!
