How long were they gone? I thought it was hours, so surely someone would have noticed the light on in the store. And no matter how quite it is I refuse to think there's no one around on the town square, even if they're only looking at the tree.

Also I hope it wasn't having a pop at one of my favourite m/m romances ever with the crack in the first few pages.

Great cover but I really shouldn't make my reading choices that way. Hopefully it's good, but the present tense does nothing to allay my fears.
