Much fluff, few insights.
Did enjoy learning how restaurants are louder now because of trendy industrial design omitting objects that traditionally dampen noise, e.g. curtains, soft chairs, table clothes, wood, etc, in larger spaces with more reverb. Restaurants then started playing louder music to cope, only causing customers to talk louder. A hellish cycle if you hate yelling stories to your friends at dinner.
