Im oscillating wildly on this book. I’m impatient for it to be over. The high points are the beautiful Poetic passages where I feel like something new is being said. These passages aren’t coming as often as I’d like. This book puts it on the reader, on their boredom, their distracted expectations. It’s incredibly unique, to me at least.

It’s getting better, or at least, I’m getting adjusted to its style and its strange rules

Slow going, but I’m starting to see some of the abstract appeal of this book. It forces you to devise a new method of reading it. Don’t think you can just knock out a quick read to add to your “books read” list. It’s not that kind of book. I did actually start underlining passages

A strange book. Nothing is happening except for intensive noticing of light entering apartments and mysterious configurations of bodies to each other. There is no narrative or progress. But I keep reading because there is an abstraction taking place that meets the reader where they are. Anti-novel.
