Status Updates From The Stardance Trilogy (#1-3)

I really tried to read this book. My father in law gave me a thrifted, signed first edition (“To Pam”) with a really sweet intention about how wonderful and special he found it. So I tried.

For like a year.

And it is AWFUL. So dull. So difficult to care about. So performative male writing about dance and the female experience. I just can’t. So I am giving up.

Life is too short to read dull books!

All right, the second book is done! One more to go!

I’m all done with the first novel in this omnibus. I appreciate how brisk the pacing of it. Older science fiction is a lot more quickly paced. But this moved a bit too quickly, particularly towards the finale.

I’m setting this aside now for a library book (yay due dates), but I’ll be back for the rest of this series soon.

Just starting part 3 of book 1. Once I finish this section, I’ll probably set this aside to get through a few library books that have come in for me.
