Status Updates From Rumore bianco

It is September and our narrator, chairman of Hitler Studies at the College-on-the-Hill, is watching the students arrive back on campus, dropped off by their parents in a stream of station wagons.

Started off listening to about a third of this book. 2x speed on Libby because the narrator is slow as heck. But I'm enjoying this. My first Delillo. A unique style. I can see some of the post modern claims. Some similarities to David Foster Wallace I think. Love a take on consumerism. We are so drenched in it, it's remarkable when someone can point at a tree in the midst of the forest.
