Just read "The First Day of the Edinburgh Festival". In an attempt to get off of heroin, Rents visits a frenemy who humiliates him while joking with his friends, then gives him two opioid suppositories to make the withdrawal easier. All goes well until Rents gets diahrrea and accidentally shits the suppositories out, then has to fish them out of the shit-filled toilet. Lol!

Just read "Junk Dilemmas No. 63". Rents is super fucked up in his room, scared of his wallpaper. Knowing that soon, the euphoric "ocean" in his body will wash away and leave only poison in his body, he prepares another shot for himself. Yeah, I'm already encouraged to never do heroin. I'm perfectly content with weed.

Just started the book and "Kicking", and read "The Skag Boys, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Mother Superior". Rents and Sick Boy, suffering from withdrawal, stop a Van Damme video and visit a local dealer, Johnny Swan, to shoot heroin. Johnny talks sinisterly about sharing needles and wanting to flee to Thailand to be a drug kingpin. Rents is encouraged to visit a female friend who likes him and just had an abortion.
