Now I wonder whether the title refers to the main character or the author. Vladek's been having enough trouble as it is, but of course, being in the camps would be such trouble that all that came before would've been trifle by comparison. But, also, Art relates his own concerns.

Maybe it's both.

The potential for the Mauschwitz pun did occur to me. I'm glad the author did not pass the opportunity.

Well, not glad, really, but you get me.

There's so few things to be glad about in a story such as this.

Weirdly enough, this book makes me wanna see Auschwitz to genuinely grasp the true horror of it.
