Status Updates From Uncle Rudolf

I've read 139 pages and basically have the knowledge it usually takes 10 pages of a book to reveal. A very drawn out tale of a boy who is sent to live with his uncle during WWII. My interest in this book came from my interest in WWII. So far this book is like a mirage in the desert. You keep going and going but basically takes you nowhere..
