The prose and tone control in this one are sublime. Things are starting to get interesting, too.

Well that felt dramatic lol not entirely unsurprising, but dramatic

Part of me hopes that Childermass is revealed to be the Raven King. He's mysterious, has picked up some magic, had that weird scene where he was split between Faerie and England, and he also sort of plays both sides between Norrell and Strange. Granted, I don't know what his angle would be with being a servant, but I think it could be cool.
