18 pages and we have no introduction to the character, no backstory, no rhyme reason nothing. But I’m supposed to “connect” with our main character Olivia (and know her name by divine miracles) and know that she’s flirting with Inspector Jack, and know that she’s an amateur detective- all which have not been introduced, but mentioned offhand. Cool cool.
