Did'nt enjoy the first part so much, found it hard to connect to the carachters.. Like " had to be there" feeling.

Note to self, this is a DRM EPUB file the I can only read in iBooks. Finished the first book, a little confusing. Kept waiting for something more to happen that never did.

Into chapter three of #book2. Now this more like it. Better reading from the previous for sure!

Hmph. I couldn't get into #book1 at all. Story that put me to sleep while reading signalled the lack of chemistry... Ugh. Zzzz...

Wait, Devon gets all worked up for men with glasses?? Oh, Devon, I approve!

The second story by Diana Copland is GOOD!!! On to third story

First story done -- two more to go.

Reading the first story. I feel like there is something missing, though I can't explain just yet what it is. By the way, these stories are quite lengthy for anthology. They all can be stand-alone novel...

All three stories are outstanding. Review to come later or tomorrow.

"He wears glasses."

Cal tilted his head, considering, as though Devon were a challenging Soduku puzzle.

"Glasses," Devon repeated, then pressed his fingers against his eyelids. "Why did he have to wear glasses?"

I am so with Devon on this one. I LOVE a man who wears glasses. :)

"If I kiss you, are you going to knee me in the junk?"

A small smile pulled at the corner of Danny's lips.

"Only one way to find out."

"I think it's worth the risk."

He'd slid to the floor, his back against the lumpy bed, and cried for the first time since he was ten and realized being gay meant his dad would never love him.

He cried for Mom, for the pain she must have endured alone, for the lost boys whose lives she would never touch. He sobbed out his regret that he hadn't been there with her, to hold her hand, to comfort her.

I really enjoyed One Door Closes. Now to The Growing Season.
