the premise was interesting, the writing is quite cringy, and a little annoying.

Nope. Can't do it.

I fear I don't like this 😬 my biggest grievance so far is that she is summarizing dialogue. Like midway through a scene, she stops writing out dialogue between the characters and there is just a paragraph of summary of the interaction.

On the other hand, the dialogue that does exist is with very stiff or very cringey.
