This is a re-read for me, but it's still one of my favorites. Genre-breaking, gritty, ugly and a lot of fun. I think the major twist is even better the second time, because now I see all the clues.

Also no explanation why any of these people are vigilante heroes. The superheroes are acting like rich business execs. Which not only makes no sense in the story, but it's also boring. If I wanted a story about disillusioned rich assholes I'd rewatch Wallstreet. *groans*
