she kind of drives me crazy, but also, walt is one of the most compelling characters to me right now, partly because i am like on the edge of my seat to see how her situation will turn out and partly because we barely get a glimpse of her

the Walt reveal has me gasping!!! I was already interested in this book so much, but now I’m *invested*

This book may be about trans women in sports, but so far, what it seems to truly be *about* is social media & fame, and seeking that as a member of a marginalized group, especially under the shadow of transmisogyny. It’s so interesting!
