I have never like the way she writes about schizophrenia but maybe that means I ought to read the other book

transience. I could tell you things about Ban."

I am thinking I have a Ban of my own though it is quite different

My issue with this, I fear, is that Kapil comes so close to riveting storytelling, then completely goes off the rails. It is ambient and surreal, which I love, but gets frustrating and repetitive at times. I longed for her to actually tell the story of the banlieue riots. She only repeats the same phrases leading up to it :(

Took a little while to orient myself, but this is a stellar experiment with storytelling
