I'm bored with this book. And now I'm shelving it until I have more interest in Woody Allen's writing/comedy style.

The Whore of Mensa! I love the concept behind this short but I don't think Allen took it far enough. An epic collaboration between Ray Bradbury and Woody Allen would have hit this one out of the park, because the former knows how to carry a story through and dig deep into the bizarre possibilities available as the story develops. Allen, I'm still trying to enjoy his style. His comedy isn't exactly my taste.

"I am at a dinner party with some friends when suddenly a man walks in with a bowl of soup on a leash. He accuses my underwear of treason, and when a lady defends me her forehead falls off. I find this amusing in the dream, and laugh. Soon everyone is laughing except my laundryman, who seems stern and sits there putting porridge in his ears. My father enters, grabs the lady's porridge, and runs with it."

Woody Allen is seriously my hero!!! Here's a quote from the page I'm on right now:
"A famous example of revolutions is: The Russian Revolution, which simmered for year and suddenly erupted when the serfs finally realized that the Czar and the Tsar were the same person."
