There were so many layers to that and it was so touching and beautiful and grieving and I like that it was written in fragments/vignettes. Really added to everything

“As silly as it sounds, it somehow never occurred to me you could miss someone when you’re that old.”

Grief is universal and unavoidable, so this book will resonate with most. The writing style almost forces the reader to reflect in the same way the author does which made for a heavy experience at times. However, there are no overarching messages or advice, but that’s the point and it works well. It helps keep the book light in a way.

I just read over 40% in one day so I am a bit embarrassed that it’s taken me so long to make good progress. Life been lifing tho. Again, no real comments on the book, at least not any that don’t need to be discussed with a therapist first 🫠

Am I- am I getting my life together??? MAYBE!
It’s kinda crazy to say, but I have nothing to say about this book so far. It’s not bad at all, there’s just no key takeaways and given the nature of the book, I don’t think there will be any. 🤷🏽♀️
