I have fewer than 100 pages left so I might as well finish this, but it’s definitely not getting more than two stars. The dialogue is terrible — nobody actually speak like the characters in this book; and tangentially related, everything is WAY over explained.

I’m halfway through and realizing this book kinda booty. The characters’ lines don’t even remotely resemble how real people talk. There’s WAY too much exposition. It’s just not great
