Before i even start the book, first thing I see is a listing of all the people involved and their role. This is what every book of this type needs; in fact, I have mentioned the lack thereof in other reviews. So I'm already impressed and happy that I can refer back to this when I can't remember who is who.

Tumbling gently in free fall, it took two minutes and forty-ve seconds for
the broken section of Challenger to hit the Atlantic, and it now seemed possible that the seven members of the crew might have been alive the whole way down.

End chpt 4. It’s sad to see how the military and government totally ignored the nasa engineers when designing the space shuttle. More focused on cost and military use instead of making a safe aircraft, like they never learned from the 012 or x-15 disasters. Again, also shocked at how much power the ex-nazi was given over creating american rockets.
