The romance plot has picked up and the cards have taken a turn with the false front

The not-so-well-kept secret has been revealed, yet the mystery hasn’t been solved.

The mystery has been built up slowly, and it’s been engaging enough to keep me hooked while also allowing the subplots room to breathe.

It’s been pretty interesting and the setting is entertaining.

I like this author’s prose style a lot. It’s very flowery and elegant while not losing sight of the actual story and turning everything into vague, abstract metaphors that loosely connect back to the original situation.

Slightly intriguing, haven’t gotten to anything substantial yet
