I switched over to the audiobook, so I could do chores, and I am not liking this narrator. She seems quite monotone and I had to bump up the speed to 1.2x.
Also, the characters are being dumb. That might have been acid, instead of water. There might be camouflaged or invisible carnivorous creatures. Do some tests first before you plunge in! Tsk.
