Status Updates From A Hue of Blu

She struggled for a long time, but she grew so much by the end. This is peak character development.

“I’m sorry that I wasn’t ready to love you, even though my
heart wanted to.”

WHY DID HE HAVE TO STAB ME AND TWIST THE KNIFE. This is what I mean. They have me feeling bipolar. One minute, they act all loving and cute, and the next, they don't.

"A week and two days later, I ended things with Jace."

I can't even describe how grateful I am right now.

"All Jace wanted from the beginning was to be loved, but he had
no intention of loving."

Indeed Blu, indeed.

"9:42pm – BLUberry: I’m sorry. I need you. Can I see you?"

I'm honestly just disappointed, speechless

“Please don’t

At this point, Zeus himself could strike her with lightning, and she'd still convince herself to stay with Jace.

Blu is regressing so badly, and I'm actually slightly irritated. She stopped seeing her therapist, ended things with someone who treated her well, and stopped talking to her best friend just because he told her she shouldn't get back together with Jace again.

Jace brings out the worst in her. He has to go.

"Whatever fire we had –
It always turned to ash."

"I was the firecracker. He lit the spark.
I was the puppet. He was the puppeteer.
I was the colour. He was the hue."

“Please give me one good reason why you’re meeting with him again.”

RIGHT. Blu i can't keep defending you. You keep going back to Jace every single time.
When is enough, enough?

“Because if you touch me, I’ll be okay. I’ll know you’re still in
there – that…” He turned to me, his eyes bloodshot and glazed, “That one
year later, you still have love for me.”

That is insane to say after a year of no contact

I hate them one chapter, then like them the next. Well, "like" is a strong word. Maybe "understand" is more accurate.

“So many guys that will treat you right, who will deserve you.”

“Why couldn’t it be you?”

“You fucked me up. And yet, you come back every time. Why?
Why do you insist on doing this to me?”

INSANE, girl run the other way. If this isn't closure, I don't know what is.
