I think my biggest critiques of this book are 1, Greta gets way too locked in on who she thinks someone is after just meeting them once, which makes her seem unreliable (which is fine if it’s intentional like with Grey) but can be distracting when it’s so obvious she doesn’t know them
And 2, the cover is giving mean girls knockoff when the plot is giving slasher movie of the summer. It’s borderline mascot horror

Im not sure how seriously I should be taking this. Like it’s dealing with serious subject material but the setting is caked hyper kid magic land. What direction are we going boss
