Notes:
(1) You know, It's ironic that a book named "The Magic Order" has no order to its magic system—I say this every time!
- I don't need an official rulebook or anything, just tell me where the lines are!
(2) But my biggest problem with this isn't the lack of rules, it's how lame the villains are.
- Hired guns are cool-looking, but the main guy's just some random schlub.

Notes:
(1) While I can appreciate the trope of a mysterious stranger—cowboy wizard in this case—stepping on the scene as the love interest du jour, Clyde here isn't doing it for me.
- He's just not interesting, and being a vessel for three demons isn't a personality.
- To be fair, genders reversed, femme fatales in general aren't really more than mood-setters.

Notes:
(1) So, it's usually the case when I read a series in singles to hold off on reading the trade until the next arc, to refresh my memory going in.
- However, this series is ostensibly finished—barring some future revival—so there's been no urgency nor real reason to get this done.
- I mean, I've already read it. Just not all together.
(2) Anyway, I'm reading this now.
