Shi Wudu didn’t overthink things like Xie Lian, and he was much sharper.

Hua Cheng came along as well. Xie Lian wanted to grab his hand, but he remembered his disgraceful state in the coffin boat, and his outstretched hand shrank back in spite of himself. In the end, he tugged a corner of Hua Cheng’s sleeve, not daring to look at his face. Pei Ming, however, looked back frequently and appeared to be very interested.

“Don’t worry too much yet,” Pei Ming assured as well. “Lord Earth Master should be able to take care of things as long as they don’t run into Demon Xuan.”

(This is a very funny scene when you got a såooler that Xuan is disguising himself as the earth master)

Pei Ming drew his sword. “Yeah,” he said leisurely.
“There’s the wood, but where’s the dead?”
Hua Cheng smiled too. “If you’re so concerned with who’s dead here, I suggest you go kill yourself.”

“Switch what?” Hua Cheng asked.
“…You on top and me on bottom,” Xie Lian replied.
“Top, bottom; isn’t it all the same?” Hua Cheng asked.

“To me, the one basking in infinite glory is you; the one fallen from grace is also you. What matters is you, not the state of you.”

He trailed off when he realized it. Coffin wood. There were trees everywhere, and there was a deceased person right before his eyes.

(Well I guess me and Xie Lian thought of the same thing)
