Ryan Sayles has this confrontational relationship to cliché, which I deeply love. He deliberately sets up cliché situations, just to destroy them later. It can't get more fun for a reader.

I won't hide the fact that Ryan Sayles and I are friends, but that friendship blossom through my appreciating of that lean, Palahniuk-esque prose of Sayles that makes you think clearer.
