Just finished chapter 13, and I’m already feeling anxious about Brielle’s side story. I always check trigger warnings before starting romantic suspense, and while sex trafficking was listed, the “references” have been much more explicit and on-page than I expected. It’s starting to overshadow the main story for me, but I’m going to keep reading.
