I’m so bummed! I loved the idea of this book, and the beginning really hooked me. But the writing was just so bad that I can’t continue! 🤧

There’s a lot of dialog that just explains things, hardly any plot. Action happens off page for the most part. I like the characters so far but wish something would actually happen… they’re in a trial! Action should be happening that’s not just them sitting around trying to puzzle things out!

Do I like this? Some of the editing has my eye twitching but also it’s short and fast paced so I may as well finish it

This is one of my first DNF’s, the FMC only talks about her diabetes and I’m so fucking bored

This has made me cackle several times. Just unhinged shenanigans. I’ve DNFed a lot of books from this author but this one is pretty funny.
