Heartbreaking and not preachy explanation of Sheku's problem with Rule Britannia via an exemplary, horrendous night he and his family had to endure at the BBC Proms once.
I love how he's not judgmental or accusatory when people (especially from other nations) don't quite understand. He's obviously into sharing knowledge and experiences rather than preaching and pointing fingers.

Chapters about where Sheku has performed so far and how he often enjoys the smaller encounters even more than the big, impressive ones.
Also, he talkes about privilege, quality, and how - at least some countries - make classical music elitist and exclusive, and why that is not only unnecessary but counterproductive as well. I agree almost 100%.

A highly important (albeit saddening) chapter about the arts vanishing more and more from the school curriculum almost around the world. :(
Love the description of his lessons - everyone needs such teachers!
I still had music lessons in school - until I had to choose between it and drawing/sculpting (and only kids able to play an instrument were allowed to pick music *doh*).
Humanity is completely off balance. T_T

I love how Sheku grew up and still is with his siblings ... not that a noisy house filled with 8 other people would have been for me, but the way they are challenging and supporting one another is cool.
Equally, what has been made possible by their parents and what at least some of the siblings have already accomplished is just jaw-dropping.

It's so wonderfully refreshing reading of Sheku's formative years as a kid and how his parents demanded all of their kids (7 in total) also have plenty of social interaction with other kids, play soccer or persue other physical activities, even if that meant risking injury. Especially after reading David Garrett's biography, that restores my faith in some parents. *lol*
