This is a bit too angsty for my liking.

The pacing is a little iffy. But I'm loving these idiots in love (let's call them enemies though hehe).

This is gonna be angsty af... hope I'm ready!

[GASP] Mabel you bastard

Finn you bastard.

I didn’t like how the author ended this. Finn deserved some on page resolution to his relationship with his family. Especially as it had such an impact on his mental health. And what about Mabel? That situation needed some closure too.

Both of these men are so lonely. It’s quite heartbreaking watching Mark try to make a connection with Fin and Fin having none of it.

These two really do seem to dislike each other. It hasn’t stopped the hate something happening though 🤣

"I had dealt with the world perfectly fine on my own for years. Now I went to bed at night imagining his breath in my hair and his arms around my body. I wanted him to love me like he had that night. I wanted to be his, for him to take me away from all the loneliness and tell me I was worthy of a life that was different from this. That perhaps I was someone who meant something, that I was someone to him."

OMG, that prologue! That’s a phenomenal way of reeling readers in.
