Status Updates From Blood Over Bright Haven

Weird but ok, I think there was too much hype for the book. Different take on the how magic is used and the consequences of said magic. The development of the two main characters is good even with the fmc being an egotistic driven.

Will be eager for things to kick into higher gear...! Other than the opening chapter this first half has been pretty slow/obviously telegraphed. also hoping for more Thomil POV but seems unlikely
