I’m way too invested in this… I’m gonna be crashing out and having an existential crisis when it’s over

It's occurred to me that Nik's transformation is in some ways similar to Eustace's in "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader".

A. I need to stop over-hyping reunions in my head because that was a really good reunion even if it didn’t fully meet my expectations
B. I’m shipping so hard and not even the main couple🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

A certain character could really do with being a lot less stupid…

I absolutely loved "The Spoken Mage" and "The Hidden Mage" and own both the books and audiobooks. However, I only sort of liked "A Mage's Apprentice".

However, since a master storyteller like Melanie Cellier actually had me rooting for Princess Ava after her despicable behavior in "The Princess Companion", I'm going to give her a chance to redeem Nik after his bad behavior in "A Mage's Apprentice".
