loving it so far. it’s imaginative and exactly what i needed. this will help me ease out of a reading rut before diving back into heavier novels. the characters are intriguing, though i wish they had richer backstories. i like how each floor of the dream department store represents a different form of escape or fantasy. it quietly reflects the complexity of the human mind and what we long for at the end of the day.
