This book’s gory, & takes crazy risks.I hate that Odessa experiences this.I don’t want to spoil this book.It’s very dark.It’s very adult ish & very interesting to see dynamics of power, identity, relationships & evil possessions.This is not fun to experience- the spirit has grave intentions because it was treated horribly.This is far fetched- Lucian decided not to ever embrace what Lucerne ended up believing

This is such a neat audiobook audio drama. Look, I’m scared about how Lucian gets possessed and how Colton does his best to get Mai’s help (what is her actual spelled out name?).I do think that the books and stuff from Colton’s mother that was saved was really important plot device to sustain a compelling narrative.This narrative is most ironic and emphasized as Colton and Lucian (Lucerne) an exorcism.lol yikes

Things have gone upside down. Colton has awoken the demon and is trying to exorcise to avail. The lesson here is to really learn your craft because he is not ready to face the paranormal!! The creature’s personality is really written like the worst qualities of someone beyond the limit. I am certain that this story’s thematic isn’t relevant. But the action is most emphasized here. The audiobook narrator is cool

Horror novel vibes. I am in my head saying get out of there Colton like Lucian said. Also the narrator changes voices and really sells the genuine sincerity and the way that Colton thinks this is not paranormal. It’s quite a listen.

Lucian one moment is a violent,elitist just horrid guy then he becomes his kind,loving,charming self.He is definitely possessed. The information from Colton’s mom, Lucian feeling off because after visiting the Beaumont basement.Lucius was totally pinning on this demon possession?Or it just happened to latch on?It’s horribly obvious that Colton is now freaking out.This demon possession resembles extreme bipolarity

I am really feeling how torn Colton feels with the fact that when he invites Lucian to meet his friends (the demon he has vague speculation comes out); but then Lucian as we have trusted him states his father wants nothing to do with him. This is what I’m most interested in reading on. The way Colton feels the fear of maybe his mother being right. It’s scary. I quite enjoy the tension. I hope something happens!

Please make the second act drama known.Is Lucian starting to become a sour person or something more sinister by accident and Colton must change it before it gets too serious?I do feel the tension.The way that Lucian changed from horrid to like omg did I hurt your feelings.It’s borderline gaslighting.Dude,Colton been a wonderful guy.He has his flaws but dude gets wrapped up in this family drama of Lucian. Boring-ish

I am noticing that perhaps Beaumont family is a source of evil demons and stuff because of their influence. I hope Lucian will not be a tool to eradicate Colton the exorcist. The way that the signs of a slow transition from normal human to demon human are happening to Lucian. Colton is definitely over his head but love blinds him a bit.Colton gets a doctor. Lucius got both of them caught in the con act.Turning point.

Lucius is actually trying to undermine (maybe) Lucian & Colton’s exorcism business. I am on my toes expecting the unexpected on the edge of my seat. Listening to the audiobook narrator narrate voices and hearing it is a big bonus. I am like so compelled to know more. Naturally the pacing and interest in this book comes in waves. It’s a book that has strengths and weaknesses in the context of interest & character

This is a very interesting book as I really enjoy the adventure and the political or social aspects of life in the Ivory District. However, I was slightly cringing when I hear the romance part of the book. I feel like the author wants to hit you over the head with all the exposition and elaboration of the relationship. Going to the Beaumont Estate- seeing the side of Lucian falter with the fact that his father- evil.

Trauma bonding. How the author shows two sides of their youth (Colton & Lucian) and how they were made for each other.It’s all too easy words and it feels like Lucian wanted a chance to love a man but his father can’t see non traditional.How parents who have much power and legacy force their sons or daughters into the mold to continue a legacy that is not of their individual interest.It’s really coming off flat

This was a very heartfelt response from Colton to Lucian. Lucian struggles with his family trauma and constant thorn of father who is just a jerk. I really felt the intonations from the narrator on how the book comes alive. Colton recognizes that Lucian deserves the love despite having a different outlook. Like being gay and other stuff I think… 🤔 I felt this book.

Confidence… easy smile, straight back. Life was all about appearances… what a banger quote. The mysterious Colton, who is still trying to solve his own mystery but is finding himself pleased with his partnership with Lucian Beaumont.

I like how Colton sees how much family means to Lucian. How Lucian needed a con artist for multiple various reasons which opens the scope of Colton’s ability which is refreshing. The target is to target Lucian’s sister’s potential husband? Lucian is wild with mischief and really despises his family. He mentioned he never wanted to run for political office. That seems like I need more details on that matter.

The humor. The way Colton does not get etiquette at all is hilarious because he says he waits for the sweet release of death. Funny Easter egg- the cover has the jellyfish that Colton knows appear in a certain place where he shares his heart with Lucian Beaumont. The trepidation to want more with a love of a relationship as Colton imagines. Colton embraces as trying- to understand the wine etiquette.

It’s actually very enjoyable. The romance, the moments; Colton’s past. The way Lucian is with him. They are a great team for exorcism duties but the romance is really there. It’s evident how much Colton likes Lucian. They are on a fun wavelength. I do enjoy the slower moments. The way that with power from the Beaumonts they can get easier recognition and if a job goes well or is pretended well it goes cool.

Colton’s POV. The way that they win after a terrifying encounter. I feel like things aren’t going to be all that well. Lucian seems like himself. The way Reverend Ives was so insane. This is a book that really takes its time and it’s good that way.
