Status Updates From Gardiens des Cités perdues ...

I’m reading this book because my niece loves this series and I want to be able to chat with her about it—and the first 100 pages felt that way because of the predictable tropes and cringe-inducing gender stereotypes. But I’m happy that at least the plot, characters, and intrigue have gotten more interesting!
