Whoa, some major world-building drops! Looks like after Tony Stark was gone, Obidiah Stane took over (or they merged while Star was still alive, a little unclear), but now Oscorp had an aggressive take-over of Stane/Stark! And Gwen and Harry are in charge?!

You know, I was starting to wonder if the kids had a babysitter since MJ and Peter were out on a dinner date with Harry and Gwen. Uncle Ben, I understand, but JJJ?

So, I see that Gwen Stacy is in this world. And she's married to Harry Osborne.

Okay, we're just going to the face and secret identity reveals...on a rooftop...in public view...where there could be observers or satellites or cameras.

Pete, you better have your Spidey-Sense now! That's Bullseye you're tangling with! And he just took down the Green Goblin...with playing cards!

Awww, some father-daughter time of changing costumes and trying out different looks. And May has a good eye for bringing the old red-and-blue.

Again? Where's his Spidey-Sense? He's had that since the beginning.

So, MJ doesn't know?! What were those looks then? Those words before?

Again, Spidey-Sense. Although in this situation, it's more like "Daddy-Sense." I just love her little face.

"If the life you had stolen from you twenty years ago was suddenly given back to you, are you obligated to try and relive some version of it? Because if you did feel like you had to relive that life, wouldn't you just be twenty years behind the curve for...forever or something like that? I mean, I'm a smart guy, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now." Usually it's Uncle Ben telling him. Who's it this time?

Some things never change, no matter which universe. Like Peter taking photos of himself as Spider-Man and selling it to the Bugle, even if JJJ isn't there.

I thought MJ knew. I'm starting to have my doubts now.

An interesting and unique start to Spider-Man. We're dealing with an adult who is having an identity crisis, and so the message of becoming a hero has to be treated differently as opposed to when he was a teenager. It's a choice of destiny rather than destiny being thrust upon him.

I don't think I've ever seen a Tony Stark this young. No goatee!

"Go get 'em, Tiger." And with that MJ already knows that something is up with Peter. About who he really is. It wasn't some dramatic reveal. It wasn't some discovery on her part. The writers have implied that they've already had the discussion, had the reveal, it wasn't a big deal, and we're moving on to more important matters. The big reveal and discovery moments will be saved for the kids.

If I ever have kids, I want them to be as smart and cheeky as Peter's. In any of the universes.

JJJ may be dropping truth bombs, but it's Uncle Ben who still has words of wisdom.

I love how Uncle Ben's answer isn't to say anything to Wilson Fisk's request for him to take up Jameson's position. Instead, he gives a small, false-apologetic smile, walks out of the room, and joins Jameson in the elevator. It's so much like an old timer that Uncle Ben is.

I like how, over the past two pages, we never got a full picture of the meeting table until we got to this page and saw who was on the other side of it. The corruption and censorship of the Daily Bugle was something that was highlighted in the old Ultimate Spider-Man comic, too. I'm glad to see that they brought it back.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot that the speaker of this public, memorial assembly is Matt Murdock! Now Father Murdock, a priest.
