I'm uninterested in these droning exposition dumps, it's not even dramatic exposition about who has history with who it's just very unoriginal economics.

I am interested in how volatile our main character is. She, within reason and also sometimes not within reason, switches up her attitude constantly. We could dig into that but I don't trust this author to go anywhere with this other than depicting her as vapid

She does every task twice per page. The author is skullfucking me. He's skullfucking me, and that's why he wrote this on purpose.

We got two purplish birds, a yellowish thicket, a yellowish animal, a reddish-brown liquid on the ground, and a silverish thing in the sky.

She sees a second bird at the end of this page guys, this is riveting

So her captures crash land on the new planet, she wakes up on the grass, sees a bird and the carnage of the spaceship, and immediately starts drinking the alien planet river water. Oh and the fish in it are yellow.

"In the distance, near the yellowish thicket, saw a small, yellowish animal moving, delicately" motherfucker you couldn't pick up a color wheel.

The word "I" is used to start like every sentence. The dryness almost adds to the character of this book. It feels very 70s. I am definitely experiencing a book. It's not good but it's a book.

Picked this paperback up for a dollar. Original version with the Boris cover so it's worth quite a bit more.
