This author HAS to have taken inspiration from Dexter. Julian is literally him… childhood trauma turning into psychopath who kills his victims in a specific ritual. Killing scene is much more brutal than Dexter’s tho

Loving the dark moody atmosphere of this book. Not so many easter eggs to Aladdin so far like other books in the series, but it seems the main characters are reversed!
