I expected to hate this but I kinda think it works, it's pretty funny, and self-aware. It's a nice change of tone from the endless dreamy poetry of the previous 300 pages, and, clearly, with the modern slang, a commentary on the deterioration of the vernacular:

Fuck on a clear-sky day, hopping into the truck to be fucking carried away to fuck all fucktown. Area Fuck. Southern Fuck Reach.
