Why are there two different art styles?

I gotta say I thought the art style would be like what it is on the cover. I do remember seeing this on WEBTOON years ago and never getting around to reading it

Hmm...I'm not sure how I feel about this yet.
It started off kind of corny. I wasn't expecting the hyper focus on sex. And I'm not impressed by this little snippet -> "I know I'm being a total girl about this, but I don't really want to have sex with someone I don't love." Surprisingly sexist, which I was not expecting of this character or book...
