I'm almost 30% in and it feels odd not to have a single character that I recognize appear. If I didn't recognize "Delacort" as the last name of Mac and Katricia's mother, I wouldn't know how this story connects with the others. I'm assuming that Crispin is their brother. Since their case hasn't been linked with Immortals yet at this point, I'm also assuming some familiar people will show up when it finally is.
